Guide
Websites for plumbers in Ireland
Most plumbing enquiries are urgent. A cylinder is leaking, a boiler is dead, there is water coming through a ceiling. The person searching is not browsing, they are panicking, and they will ring whoever makes it easiest. That one fact should shape the whole website.
Build for the person in a panic
Your number belongs at the top of every page, tappable, with nothing above it that has to load first. If someone has to scroll or pinch to find it you have lost them to the next result.
Say where you cover and when you answer. A line like "Dublin and north Wicklow, calls answered from seven in the morning" does more work than three paragraphs about your commitment to quality.
Separate the urgent work from the planned work
Emergency callouts and bathroom installations are two completely different customers with different questions. Trying to serve both on one page means neither gets what they need.
Give each its own page. The emergency page is short, direct and all about response time. The bathroom page can be longer, with photos, a rough idea of how the job runs and what the timeline looks like.
Pages that earn their keep for a plumber
These are the ones that get found and get calls.
- Emergency plumber, with your response area and hours
- Boiler repair and servicing, including the brands you work on
- Boiler replacement and heating upgrades
- Bathroom installation, with real photos of finished rooms
- Leak detection and burst pipes
- Landlord and gas safety work if you are registered for it
Show your registrations clearly
If you are RGI registered, put it where people see it, not buried in a footer. Homeowners have been told to check and they do check.
Insurance, years trading and a real address all do the same job. They tell someone that the van turning up belongs to a proper business.
The local part
Plumbing searches are almost always local. Someone types plumber followed by their town or suburb. Winning those means a properly set up Google Business Profile, steady reviews and pages that actually mention the areas you cover.
That work never really finishes, which is why we keep doing it every month rather than treating it as a one off task at launch.
Common questions
Do I need a website if I already get work from word of mouth?
Word of mouth still sends people to Google to check you out before ringing. If there is nothing to find, some of those referrals quietly go elsewhere.
Should I put prices on a plumber website?
A callout charge or a starting figure sets expectations and filters out time wasters. Full price lists rarely work because no two jobs are the same.
How quickly can a plumber site be live?
Once we have your details and photos it is usually a matter of days rather than weeks. Ring us and we will give you a realistic date.
Where to go next
