The business

A certified Dublin steel fabricator working across structural steel, staircases, railings, gates and CNC cutting, selling to two very different audiences at once.

What they needed

Steel fabrication has an unusual split. On one side are contractors and engineers who need to know about certification, tolerances, capacity and lead times. On the other are homeowners who want a set of gates or a staircase and have no idea what any of that means.

A single generic website cannot speak to both. Trade buyers were not finding the certification information they need to shortlist a supplier, and domestic customers were landing on technical language and leaving.

What we built

We led with the credentials that matter to trade buyers, EN 1090 and ISO 9001 certification, placed where a specifier looks for them rather than buried in an about page.

Then we built separate, plainly written paths for the domestic work, gates, railings, handrails and staircases, so a homeowner sees something written for them.

A step by step explanation of the process from enquiry to fabrication to installation was added, because the main reason people hesitate with fabrication is not knowing what happens or how long it takes.

A project gallery and a quote request flow tie both audiences back to the same action.

Fast mobile first build, compressed imagery for a photo heavy project gallery, and clean URL structure separating structural work from domestic services.

Unique titles, descriptions and canonicals per page, structured data describing the business and each service, and a complete sitemap.

Proper heading hierarchy and alt text throughout, with forms tested so quote requests never fail silently.

Google Business Profile completed with accurate categories, services and workshop photography, matched exactly to the website.

Local pages targeted at the Dublin areas the business serves, written around the work actually done there.

Review collection set up so completed installations turn into visible, recent feedback.

Technical content written for specifiers: certification, capacity, plasma cutting and CNC services, and what documentation accompanies a job.

Plain language content for homeowners covering gates, railings and staircases, with realistic guidance on timelines and what affects cost.

A clear process section so both audiences can see exactly what happens between an enquiry and an installation.
