The business

A Dublin carpenter with over fifteen years of bespoke work and almost none of it visible online. The task was to turn a long history of finished jobs into something that wins new ones.

What they needed

The craftsmanship was never the issue. The problem was that all of it lived in the heads of past customers and on a phone camera roll. Anybody searching for a carpenter in the area had no way of finding him and no way of judging the work if they did.

Bespoke carpentry also carries a pricing hesitation. Without any guidance on cost, enquiries were a mix of people expecting flat pack prices and people who assumed it would be unaffordable and never made contact.

What we built

We made the portfolio the spine of the site. Project galleries organised by job type so somebody looking for fitted wardrobes is not scrolling past decking to find them.

Service pages broken out for each strand of the work, giving each one its own page to rank and its own space to explain process and materials.

Testimonials placed beside the work they relate to rather than stacked on a page of their own, and a quote request system so enquiries arrive with enough detail to price without three phone calls.

Fast, mobile first build with image compression tuned for a gallery heavy site.

Unique titles, descriptions and canonicals across every page, structured data for the business and its services, and a sitemap covering the full site.

Descriptive alt text on gallery images, a clean heading structure, and forms tested end to end so no enquiry is lost silently.

Google Business Profile claimed and completed with categories, services and real project photography, all matched to the website details.

Pages built around the parts of Dublin the business genuinely works in, with content that reflects the housing and the jobs there.

A steady review process introduced so completed work turns into recent, visible feedback.

Copy written in the owner's own voice, leaning on fifteen years of experience rather than generic claims about quality and passion.

Each service explained the way it gets explained on site: what is involved, what materials change the outcome, how long a typical job runs.

Guidance on what drives the cost of bespoke work, so enquiries arrive with realistic expectations.
